I really do know what you are going through

Oct. 9, 2012 my life was

forever changed

I became a mom at 22 years old and loved having that amazing little human in my life.

He was adorable, cute, witty and he loved his mama! His little grown up ways were always entertaining.

He loved to sing and grew up to be a wonderful singer. He had a great talent for music.

He was a terrible student, playing was much more important. He had a heart as big as the world and made friends who loved him like no other.

His loyalty was one of his biggest qualities.

He became a very successful businessman who had a wife and two children.

Scott seemed to have it all.

My love and my loss of him is why I now do what I do.

I would like to believe that there is something gained here for the loss we endured.

Scott was a son, grandson, nephew, father and husband as well as a friend to so many.

He will be forever missed.

Forever 37

I have put a lot of time and thought into how can I make it not a complete loss? How can I honor his life in some way?

What can I do to perhaps help others that have endured the same losses or prevent others from making such a final decision for a temporary problem?

That is why I am here today. I will share my journey, but more importantly I want to help you with yours.

Today I am sharing my mission with you. I am here to make a difference in hurting lives.

I have put together a program that can help you.

The program is designed to work as a guide to finding your way to healing.

It's a 90 day program that will help you along the way with weekly sessions, a journal I specially designed for your journey and weekly updates to help with coping and overcoming the terrible tragedy of your loss.

It is very much hands on and mostly one on one grief coaching that will put you on the Journey To Heal and become purposeful and happy again!

Have you been grieving so much that it has stopped you from your daily living as you once knew it?

Are you shutting others out, or placing blame where it doesn't belong?

Are you feeling like you can never rise above the devastation?

I am here to tell you, you can! The question is, "Are you willing to do what is necessary?

People really don't change until they have had enough! Have you had enough?

Are you ready to make that change that will honor your loved one?

If the answer is yes to those questions then you are ready for me.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

Sherri helped me work through some depression after the loss of my second husband. I never dreamed I would be a widow at 53 and then again 12 years later. It was a shock and I felt a lot of anger toward God and my husband for “leaving” me. Both deaths were from health issues and they were unexpected, I felt like there should have been more I could have done. Sherri helped me let go of that guilt and made me realize I shouldn’t blame myself. With her help and guidance. I have been able to move forward and accept that whatever reason there is for me going through this I will not allow it to take me down. I will not stay in my grief, I will “move” on with grace no matter what. I am so grateful for her helping me overcome my anger and sadness. Thank you Sherri!

I am so blessed to call Sherri my mentor. She is easy to talk to and will anything within her power to help you succeed in your journey. She sees the potential in everyone even when you don't see it in yourself. Sherri inspires and motivates you to be the best you can be as you work through your healing of loss or from past tragedies

Having known Sherri for 12 wonderful years, I know her heart is big and she is always thinking of others just like she does in writing her book. She is raw and real about her own life story which by telling it she is able to help others. Whether you've lost a child or a loved one or maybe a friend is experiencing a loss, her book can help give you comfort in a way of understanding as Sherri speaks from her heart to yours. It was hard to put the book down once I started! You may shed a tear But I've always said if you cry in a book or movie its a good one!

No one chooses to be an expert on grief but when you experience the tragic loss of your only child, you can choose to recoil into a deep depression or seek the strength and insight to process such an unimaginable detour in your life. But Sherri's story shows there can be joy again in the morning. As a personal friend of mine for many years, she offered unwavering support with each precious loss of mine. Her spirituality and compassion can allow you to walk through the darkness with her at your side to find light once again.
